Hey all. im a senior at college park highschool in plesant hill, ca(east bay) my school is making the senior class do a project called senior experience. what we have to do is go out and experience something for at least 16 hours. heres where you can help me. i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to do lampworking for my experience. if you are a lampworker or know a lampworker that can help me please write back. the problem i have encountered in the past is no one wants to tell me anything unless i take their class. there is no way i can afford a real class. the project will only allow me to spend $20. so if you can help me learn how to do some cool techniques please write back. i have done beads on a hot head and i have a new nortel that i havn't used, so i do have some knowledge about working with hot glass.

thanks alot for reading

there are also some great art magazines that show you techniques, you can also go to barnes and nobel and just look throw the bead making books there to get some ideas and photos of the processes.
