    Hello.
Unfortunately there aren't any. There are a couple of studios that offer occasional weekend workshops , and a couple of Continuing Education night classes available but no schools here offering glass of any form. Andrighetti Glassworks (3 W. #rd Ave) offers torch based workshops and sells lampworking supplies. Joanne A. knows everyone in the glass community here and is a great connection. Brock Craig is one of Canadas most accomplished fusers and teaches occasionally from his studio at Prior and malkin in East Van. David New-Smalls gallery and hot shop on Granville Island is an excellent resource for meeting glass artists, as is Craft House (the Craft Association of BCs gallery shop) and Circle Craft (both on Granville Island as well). Jeff Burnette's Joe Blow Glassworks at 1191 Parker St in East Van is a really cool hotshop (is that a contradiction?) and Jeff teaches glass blowing. There is a BC Glass Arts Assoc; Joanne A. would likely know how to connect with it. There are only a couple of studios that specialize in stained glass that I'm aware of and that may offer classes (not sure these days). There's a restoration type shop at Main just north of broadway whose name escapes me. Yves Trudeau, at Studio One Glass Art (6th & Cambie) does stained glass, fusing and kilnforming, and sandblasting. I worked for Yves many moons ago (also used to be on the Boards at the Glass Assoc and CABC).
CABC, Studio One, Andrighetti Glassworks, New-Small & Sterling, and Joe Blow Glass each have websites.

Anyways...there's at least a start at finding possible options beyond full time schooling. I know a ton of glass folk here; if you're looking for more intro's let me know. Good luck with the hunt.
    Eric

I'm not sure what's currently being offered where. I know that Vancouver School Board used to offer stained glass and I think Langara did as well. Don't think Capilano College does/did nor Emily carr but you never know. Best bet would be try googling a combo of stained glass, Vancouver, Continuing Ed. It could hurt?

Stupid question. I know glass is hot in Seattle. Is it worth your commuting once a week?

If you are fixed on staying in Van a good approach may be to find peoples work that interests you then see if they are interested in teaching. There is a place in Gibsons (Sunshine Coast) that offers stained glass workshops that just opened up (I'd have to look up their name). There is also a pretty big collective of people lampworking with boro and soft glass in the Vancouver area. If your ever interested in any boro work let me know.
