I have a few fused glass pieces that I need sandblasted inexpensively. I'm looking for someone that can do this for me or be able to rent one in the San Francisco Bay area. Thanks!

Mon, January 1, 2007 - 9:58 AMI (will) have 2 8" round pieces. I just need to sandblast off any kilnwash stuck to the piece. Do you use the sandblaster for glass work? -

Re: Looking for someone with a sandblaster or to rent a sandblaster
Tue, January 2, 2007 - 10:01 AMPS I use glass beads (fine) for beadblasting. That may not be suitable for what you want to do, you may need to use something less abrasive like walnut medium. -

Re: Looking for someone with a sandblaster or to rent a sandblaster
Sat, January 6, 2007 - 3:30 PMI need silicon carbide or aluminum oxide @ 120 grit. I don't think the glass beads are going to do it. Thanks!
